It is almost never a lack of traffic. The issue is usually that the site doesn't explain what you sell, takes too long to load, or asks nothing of the visitor.
These are the most frequent problems we encounter when reviewing websites for businesses. None of them require burning the whole site down: they can almost always be fixed in a matter of days.
1. People can't tell what you sell within five seconds
Your headline talks about “comprehensive solutions” instead of stating exactly what you do, for whom, and where. Be literal: “Web Design for Businesses in the Dominican Republic” is instantly understood without forcing the user to think.
2. No clear call to action
If the only way to contact you is an email hidden in the footer, you are losing clients. A primary button repeated throughout the page with one clear action works much better than throwing five different options at the user.
3. Forms that are way too long
Every extra field you add reduces your response rate. Ask only for the absolute minimum needed to take the next step and leave the rest for the actual conversation.
4. Sluggish performance, especially on mobile
Uncompressed images, unnecessary fonts, and too many third-party scripts. This is the single most common mistake, but also one of the fastest to correct.
5. Duplicated titles and descriptions
When every page has the exact same title, Google doesn't know which one to show. Giving each page a unique title featuring the actual words people search for is an afternoon's worth of work.
6. Zero social proof
Without case studies, client logos, reviews, or team photos, a visitor has no reason to trust you. Show what you can actually prove.
7. Content frozen in time
Old pricing, services you no longer offer, or a blog that was abandoned three years ago. Either update it or remove it entirely: an outdated website drastically reduces trust.
8. Not tracking anything
Without basic analytics and form tracking, you are making decisions blind. Before you invest a single dollar in advertising, install basic tracking.
